Add yourself to the pot

Whatever you're bringing in on Friday — even if two people bring noodles. Especially then.

Who's bringing what

Nobody yet — be the first.

Who's doing what

Bringing an ingredient isn't the job — this is. Everyone eating takes one, cooking or not. Laying the table and scrubbing it afterwards count just as much as standing at the pot. Something marked 2 people takes two — put your name down even if somebody's already on it. Something missing from the board? Whoever's running the pot puts it up.

Who can't eat what

Add yourself if you have a restriction. There's one pot and everybody eats from it, so whatever's listed here decides what the pot can be.

The pantry

What the office already has on the shelf — spices, dry goods, the half bag of lentils from last time. Everything here goes to the recipe every week automatically: nobody signs it up, nobody brings it again, and the dish is picked to put it to use.

The plan

Picked by whoever's running the pot, normally on Wednesday, from whatever made the list by Tuesday night. It searches for a real dish that fits what's coming in — curry, braise, noodle pot, chili, stew, whatever works — with two rules: everything cooks in one pot, and it has to be worth eating. Steps come split into jobs, plus anything worth prepping at home the night before.
However many end up taking part is what it gets scaled to.

Previously

Everything this office has cooked, most recent first. A dish lands here when someone keeps it from the plan, or when a new pot starts. Click one to read the recipe again.
